All kittens raised at Supreme Cattery are active, playful, and affectionate. They are handled daily so they become comfortable with people, household sounds, and normal family routines.
Many families ask whether Bengal kittens are overly active or “crazy.” In reality, Bengal kittens are not significantly more active than our other breeds. All kittens are energetic during kittenhood as they explore and grow.
Kittens often benefit from having a companion, and many families choose to adopt two kittens together, especially littermates. However, kittens also adapt very well to homes that already have an older resident cat.
Before I began breeding, I personally only had one cat at a time, so I understand that many families are looking for a single kitten companion. I never deny families the opportunity to purchase a kitten simply because they only want one.
Interestingly, about 95% of our families return within one to two years to adopt a second kitten.
Handling kittens on a daily basis is an important part of helping them develop confident personalities.
Kittens remain exclusively with their mother during their early weeks. Around 4 to 5 weeks of age they begin learning litter box habits and start the weaning process.
At approximately 8 weeks old, they begin exploring the rest of the home where they become familiar with new people, sounds, and environments. This gradual introduction helps them develop into well-adjusted pets before they go to their new homes.
The health of our kittens is extremely important.
At approximately 12 weeks of age, kittens visit the veterinarian to receive their first vaccinations and a full health evaluation.
Three to four weeks later they are spayed or neutered and receive their additional age-appropriate vaccines before leaving for their new homes.
All veterinary documentation is provided to the new family so they can establish care with their personal veterinarian.
One of the most common questions we receive is whether kittens are litter trained.
The answer is yes. Kittens naturally begin learning litter box habits between 4 and 5 weeks of age as they start weaning from their mother.
By the time kittens are approximately 7 to 8 weeks old, they are fully litter trained and comfortable using the litter box.
We encourage families to visit our home whenever possible to meet us and our cats. This gives you the opportunity to see how the kittens are raised and to interact with them in person.
For families who live farther away, video calls are available so you can meet your kitten before bringing them home.
When selecting a kitten, we typically ask families about their preferences for gender and color so we can help guide them toward the best match.

Free delivery is available within the DMV area. Delivery to other states depends on the distance and travel arrangements.
If a kitten must be transported by air, all travel costs must be covered by the buyer.
